We have been so busy building custom homes in Chappell Hill, Brenham, Giddings, Bellville and the surrounding areas that we often fail to keep everyone updated on our business. This is what's new!
NEW OFFICE-We are currently finishing the build out for our new office location at: 1106 South Blue Bell Road right across from Blue Bell Creameries in Brenham. We hope to be moved in at the end of September 2022 and look forward to serving our clients at this new location.
NAHB BUILD SHOW 2021- We love the National Association of Home Builders and really enjoyed attending the annual International Builders Show in Orlando last October. We met great new people and grew our relationships with national vendors and suppliers. We are always working hard to provide the best & trending new custom home products to our clients. We got to see new solar shingles from GAF , great new fixtures from Delta , and harassed some executives from our window supply companies (Re: 4 Month Window delays). We also continued to educate ourselves on building science. You can check out some of our photos from the trip on our social media. We don't plan on making the 2023 trip to Vegas .. we are expecting a new baby in February! We will plan on
MATERIALS COST / LABOR SHORTAGES- The economic environment has been a rollercoaster the past couple of years and we are praying for some type of normalcy. We have seen an overall decease in lumber cost (July 2022), better participation in the labor market but costs are still high in other categories. Logistics issues with foreign suppliers and domestic energy costs have continued to have a significant impact on total new home build cost. We are working day and night fighting for the best pricing / supplies for our clients.
NEW BUILDS IN PROGRESS- We currently have 5 custom build homes underway and have several more under contract and nearing commencement. We are actively working some other potential development deals but can't share details yet!
3 CAR GARAGE ADDITION COMPLETED- We were hired by a wonderful family to add a 3 car garage & extend the back patio of their beautiful ranch home in Chappell Hill. We completed the project and enjoyed getting to know the clients! Almost 1500 Square feet of additional space!
COMMUNITY- We love supporting local community / non-profits dear to us and recently attended a fundraiser dinner for Our Daughters House in Chappell Hill. We also enjoy supporting: Brenham ISD Band, Casa for Kids of South Central Texas and the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.
