I am originally from Edmond, Oklahoma. I got involved in the home building industry in 2008 when I was offered a role, part time, reviewing and filing paper invoices. Long story short- I uncovered major fraud and embezzlement at the company and was ultimately tasked with leading the organization after the ouster of previous leadership. I worked with civil litigation teams and the FBI in investigating and prosecuting the embezzlement. It was exciting and , with the help of the best team, we turned the organization around and produced great financial returns for our investors. This is where I learned how to build.. and how important integrity was in this industry. I have since managed the construction of many homes (from 1,200 sq.ft - 14,000 sq.ft) and am a member of the National Association of Homebuilders.

How did I end up in Texas? Well.. after 8 years running a company I hadn't planed on running, I decided to step down and pursue a masters degree, In International Affairs, from Texas A&M University. Two pivotal things happened in my life at this time; I met Chelsea and I was recruited into the Directorate of Operations at the Central Intelligence Agency to serve undercover overseas (still feel uneasy publicly disclosing this). Chelsea and I decided to get married and I was going to work for a local homebuilding company, in college station, while waiting on word to move to Washington D.C. from the federal government. I was laid off from my "interim" job as covid-19 lockdowns started and began searching for something else to bridge the gap until Washington called.

Chelsea said, "Lets start our own homebuilding company". We started Chelsea Build in 2021 and have continually been blessed with our efforts.
